Jai Ho features the fight scenes from the previous films in addition to those of Bollywood film Shaadi (2006) as well as Paheli (2007), the films Jai Ho had been marketed as. The film was released in the U.S. on August 24, 2008, and in India on August 25, 2008.
The film's theme song, Parda Hai Mera Dil Hai was composed and performed by Amit Trivedi, who also wrote the songs "Bairi Bhatti" and "Madly Madly".

Production
Jai Ho was filmed on a budget of 150 million and was directed by Sajid Khan who was also involved with the scripting of the movie. On 24 February 2006, during the filming of the climax of Jai Ho, a major fight sequence that required over 100 elephants and over 30 stuntmen went haywire and the entire sequence had to be re-shot. There were scenes also shot on the Jodhpur railway line, Jai Ho was one of the last movies shot in the city, the town being a shooting location for several other Hollywood films and Bollywood films.
